Fact checking for VisitPhiladelphia.comGood afternoon,I have been hired by Visit Philadelphia to fact check information about Chinatown for a press release they will be releasing online in the near future. VP’s sole client is the City of Philadelphia and it is employed to market the city to tourists and visitors. This service is not done for any cost to the businesses or organizations it features in the press releases.I am looking to get in touch with whoever handles PR or marketing for you to go over the accuracy of the blurb below. I thought I would start with this email address, but if there is a name, number or email to who I should address this directly, please let me know.As a fact checker I did not write, nor am I authorized to change, any of the copy except for any factual errors or updates. If someone could look it over and let me know if it is good as-is, or if there are any changes that need to be made, I would appreciate it.Tai Lake – The tanks of fish and frogs hint at the freshness of ingredients at this seafoodery. Diners choose from authentic delicacies such as crabmeat and asparagus soup, chili-baked shrimp and sautéed conch. 134 N. 10th Street, (215) 922-0698, tailakeseafoodrest.comThank you for your help,-Chris

To whom it may concern, My cousin Donna was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She had a double mastectomy two weeks ago and is currently recovering. Unfortunately, Donna found out this week that the cancer is invasive, has spread into her lymph nodes and she needs to start chemo. To give you a little background about Donna, she is a single mother of four girls. A little over a year ago Donna lost her long standing job due to offshore outsourcing and it took her roughly eight months to find another job. That job paid less than her previous job but she was ecstatic to be working. After being there for a few months she was approached about a better paying position at another company so she interviewed and took the job. To her shock, during training she was let go and within days the company announced its closing. Over the years whenever Donna fell on hard times she did whatever it took to make ends meet, including tackle two jobs at once. Even as she struggled, she has always given back to charities such as Cradles to Crayons, Philabundance, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America, She is a United Way Ambassador, she's worked in soup kitchens, participated in multiple autism and cancer walks and she often takes her daughters with her to volunteer at Dining with Dignity which involves feeding the homeless. Donna always gives so much of herself and continues to be a loving and caring mother to her four daughters. Donna's recent diagnosis has left her not only having to deal with her health but also unable to even consider looking for employment, leaving her with no income. We are reaching out to anyone and everyone to help lessen the burden of her financial struggles as she goes through treatment. We are having a beef and beer on Saturday, September 10th where baskets will be auctioned off. We would like to ask if you could be so kind to donate towards this event. Any donation would be extremely helpful and very much appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Have a wonderful day. Hello,While looking through your menu, I came across shark fin soup. I was wondering how you discovered this dish and why you decided to add it to your menu. Would you be able to share any information that you have about serving the dish. For example, do many of your customers order it and if so, what is your general customer population? Thank you in advance for your time and attention.Interested customer
